Bathed in the sunlight of northern Mexico, the Santa María Solar Park captures the energy of the sun to power a more sustainable future. Located in Galeana, Chihuahua, this solar park is a shining example of SPIC-Zuma Energía’s commitment to clean energy and environmental stewardship. With an installed capacity of 170 megawatts, Santa María generates approximately 375 GWh of electricity per year, enough to power the equivalent of over 100,000 homes annually. This clean generation prevents more than 200,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year — equivalent to taking over 45,000 cars off the road. Its strategic location in one of the sunniest regions of the country ensures consistent and efficient energy production throughout the year, reinforcing Mexico’s path toward a low-carbon, sustainable energy model.
