In the Isthmus of Tehuantepec — one of the most promising wind corridors in the world — the Ingenio Wind Farm stands as a beacon of clean energy and sustainable development, proudly operated by SPIC-Zuma Energía. With an installed capacity of 49.5 megawatts, Ingenio generates enough renewable electricity to power the equivalent of over 140,000 Mexican homes annually. This clean energy production helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supports Mexico's national and global climate commitments.

Powering Progress with Purpose

Parque Eólico
Ingenio is more than an infrastructure project — it is a catalyst for local transformation. Throughout its development and operation, the wind farm has created local employment opportunities, fostered technical training for youth in the region, and maintained an open dialogue with local communities to ensure long-term shared value. SPIC-Zuma Energía is proud to be part of Oaxaca’s renewable future, supporting inclusive energy transition and promoting innovation, environmental responsibility, and respect for cultural identity.
