At SPIC-Zuma Energy, as leaders in the sustainable energy sector, we invite you to learn about our first ESG Executive Report 2023, where we share all the ongoing efforts to promote environmental, social, and governance responsibility in each of our operations.

What we know today as ESG criteria are the environmental, social, and corporate governance factors that are taken into account when investing in a company. The origin of the acronym dates to the early 2000s and has been the result of the evolution of what was known as Socially Responsible Investment (SRI).

At SPIC-Zuma Energía we commit to innovation and sustainability, as well as a deep respect for the communities and cultures where we operate, serving not only as a bridge of economic but also cultural relations between the great nations of China and Mexico.

Actions with Impact

We carry out important social responsibility actions in the communities where we operate, including health, education, and women's empowerment programs. During 2023 we made contributions, educational workshops, and recreational activities to benefit local communities, aware that the impact of our actions must have an important social component.

Some of our activities included: Health Workshops, Educational Workshops Productive School Activities, and Dignification of Public Spaces.

Comprehensive Social Health Program: Potrero Solar Park Clinic

Our program allowed us to keep the clinic equipped and improve operating conditions by providing general maintenance and implementing a new digital health system, which generates a medical record of all the people who attend. This new program allows the doctor in charge of the community health service at the Potrero Solar Park to follow up on the patients who have come to the clinic, as well as their history of illnesses and consultations, and the medication provided at each visit.

With this improvement, we directly benefit more than 100 families. We issued more than 250 medical certificates in eight basic education schools and for the general population. We provide more than 1,000 free medical consultations and supply more than 4,000 medications.
